Hello Alec! I been watching your channel for a while now, but never had any hand to send you, but recently I made a bad fold ( I think ) and I would like to have your opinion. If I made any mistakes in the way I described the hand or you need more information let me know. Thanks and sorry if I have any writing errors, English is not my native language. The game was at the local casino in Montreal and the game was 1/2$ no limit. The minimum amount to buy in is 50 and the max is 200.
I bought for 200. Stacks: I have around 320$, Preflop raiser (250$), Button old guy (400$) and the guys who called are low stacks with around 50$ each I been playing pretty tight for an hour or so out of position, but in position I played a little looser with suited connectors and pocket pairs. So yeah, a new guy just came at the table and won three hands in a row, fairly larges pots with huge preflop bets and huge c-bets. (15 to 20$ raise preflop) The fourth hand, he opened under the gun for 12$, the next two guys calls, I call from the high jack with 34 of diamonds and the guy on the bottom calls. He is an old guy who just dropped at least 3 buy in in 2 hours and he is very aggressive and mostly lost his money on one pair hands. The flop comes: 5KQ with two diamonds The preflop raiser bets 14$ Two guy folds I call and the guy on the button calls Turn: 5KQJddd ( king queen and jack are diamonds) The preflop raiser now bets 50$ Immediately right after he bets, the guy in the button went all in for 400$ out of position! He forgot I was in the pot !!! Then right after the preflop raiser called his all in out of position as well!!! So the dealer told them that they were both all in and I still had my action. I was about to call and I looked at them and they both look confident playing with their cards. After about 2 minutes someone called time on me... ...and I actually folded. Both of them show AT, both with straights but one with the ace of diamonds and the other with the ten of diamond. The river was a blank deuce of clubs. Is this a bad call or not? I asked some of my friends who are actually decent online players and they all told me to call but i`m still not convinced. Keep up the good job!
